Brampton murder suspect turns himself in

Peel police say a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Brampton has turned himself in.

On Sunday afternoon, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex for gunshots on Charolais Boulevard, near Main Street South and Steeles Avenue West, where they found the victim, 21-year-old Mohan Dori, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Dori was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Che’don Jackson of Brampton turned himself in to police around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

He is facing a charge of second-degree murder and will appear in court on Thursday.
